This week, we had Linda Davis, our local coordinator for Toys for Tots, attend our meeting to talk about this program and how it impacts our local community. Linda was also supported by our own Rotarian Shawn Dollar, who heads up distribution for Pilot Point and Aubrey!

Our local Toys for Tots organization provides toys to children in Denton, Cookie, Wise and Montague counties. In 2023, they distributed 119,921 toys to 35,419 children in our area!
Everyone who works locally with Toys for Tots is a volunteer. Those who are paid within the organization are Foundation employees, paid through an estate endowment, with 97% of the funds collected by the organization going directly to purchasing additional toys.
There are more than 400 additional families this year in need in our area. Every child gets three toys, a book, a stuffed animal and stocking stuffers, which are hand-picked by the parents for their children.
How to Help
In addition to toy donations, those interested in helping can make a monetary donation at their website
Help distribute toys to local families! Shawn Dollar coordinates these efforts at Grace Point Church of the Nazarene, beginning Dec. 10. Contact Shawn at 940-230-5880 to volunteer for a spot!
