This week, Rotarian Gina Webber shared with the Club her cruise with our local Rotary 5790 Regional Club Members.
Rotary District 5790 put together this cruise in early February with the intention of not only influencing mingling of several clubs, but also to complete a Rotary Humanitarian Project in Cozumel.
There were 119 participants who attended the cruise. On February 15, noted as the Day of Service, the cruisers joined together with Rotaria de Cozumel. They provided backpacks of equipment to a local youth soccer team and completed a beautification project at a youth technical school, including planting trees and seedlings, painting benches and working on a mural for Rotary International's 120th Anniversary.
