At this week's Rotary meeting, we heard from Fire Chief Heath Hudson on how his department is managing the growth and preparing for the future, including the construction of Public Safety Station #3 and the new crew of firefighters to lead it.

Chief Hudson is pictured here with Rotary President Penni Moening and Immediate Past President Whitney Delcourt.
Chief Hudson spoke about the training his department undergoes to ensure the best possible practices to keep our citizens safe, with the crew completing more than 700 hours of training combined in 2024.
Public Safety Station #3, which will service the new developments on FM 1385 including Mobberly Farms and Creekview Meadows, is still under construction with estimated completion this fall.
He went into detail regarding the station's first ladder truck, and how essential it is to fighting fires to keep people and structures safe.

Thank you Chief for your informative presentation!
