Aubrey Independent School District students attended the weekly Rotary meeting on March 4 as our Seniors of the Month.

Our two stellar seniors from Aubrey this weekend have high aspirations for their future.

Toby Davis is active in athletics, on the powerlifting team and on the football team. He was named First Team All-District and Second Team All-State this year as a middle linebacker, and intends to continue his football career at Lyon College in Batesville, Arkansas, where he plans to study finance. In his spare time, he also works with his father in his gutter business.

Jaclyn Avila was a part of the cheerleading squad at Aubrey High School that finished third in the state UIL competition. She is also a member of the girls powerlifting team and has competed at state in FCCLA. She plans to attend NCTC to obtain her associates degree before transferring to UT-Tyler with hopes of becoming a pediatric nurse through their nursing practical program.
