This week, our Rotary Club welcomed Allen McCracken, Pilot Point resident and Secretary of the Upper Trinity Regional Water District, to discuss water resources in our area.

Allen is pictured here with Rotary President Whitney Delcourt.
The Upper Trinity Regional Water District serves our area and is a conservation and reclamation district authorized to provide water, wastewater, solid waste and stormwater services wholesale to the Denton County area.
Their staff includes finance, governmental affairs, engineering services, operation and maintenance, and administration. They also are overseeing the Lake Ralph Hall project, which will be completed in 2026 and will begin delivering 50 million gallons of water a day to the area from Fannin County.
The District is pro-water conservation, with great tips on saving water, including watering on a schedule no more than twice a week, updating your sprinkler system, upgrading your soil quality and planting native bushes and trees.
