First and foremost, we hope everyone in our club made it through the storms safely. Things can be replaced, our wonderful club members cannot.

 

I have already spoken with Rotary's Disaster USA lead Bruce Schultz. They are preparing to deploy to assist Pilot Point and the surrounding areas with recovery efforts.

 

For those interested in assisting with recovery efforts, Public Works will be gathering on the Square this morning. The City needs people with chainsaws, trucks and trailers to help with tree cleanup, which is extensive around town. For the latest information, please follow the City of Pilot Point Facebook page and our News Flash section on our website.

 

If you need assistance, whether it be property cleanup help, medical assistance, someone to do a welfare check, etc., send Wendy Haun a text at 940-293-7434 and I will get it to the correct department. If it is an emergency, dial 911.

 

We will NOT have a meeting this Tuesday. We had already planned to not meet due to the long holiday weekend.
