It's time once again to subscribe to the Rotary Club's Show Your Colors Flag Program!
Signing up for the Lake Ray Roberts Rotary Club Flag Program gives you an opportunity to show your pride and love for our country. It gives our community a real patriotic spirit and at the same time, allows us to continue to provide scholarships and youth programs for the young people in our communities.
We have several different teams of Rotary Club members who put out the flags and pick them up. Last year, we set out around 500 flags on our special days. We will handle all the upkeep and storage of the flags. You don't even need to be home! The flag program helps fund our special programs, including:
- Senior Scholarships for Aubrey ISD and Pilot Point ISD
- Shepherd's Storehouse donations
- LovePacs donations
- Hopes Door
- Dictionaries for Pilot Point and Aubrey third graders
- Pilot Point Angel Tree
- Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA)
- International Polio Drive
- Other community needs
Flag Display Holidays
- Memorial Day
- Flag Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Patriots Day (September 11)
- Veterans Day
For just a $50 annual fee, we will place an American flag in your front yard or place of business on these six holidays.
NOTE: Flags may not be installed during inclement weather.
