Our guest speaker this week will be a familiar face to most: former Lake Ray Roberts Rotarian Whitney Delcourt! Whitney is stopping through but has joined a Rotary Club in her new home area and is bringing some ideas and opportunities from the Somerville, TN Rotary Club back to us!

July 21: District Governor Angie Cox

This week, we were proud to invite District 5790 Governor Angie Cox to our Rotary Club! Governor Cox discussed the Rotary initiatives and priorities for the upcoming year. Thank you for coming to our meeting! We also presented Governor Cox with a check for $500 for the District 5790 Foundation.

Our club voted to invite Cindy Faris to be a part of our club at the July 21 meeting. Welcome to the Lake Ray Roberts Rotary, Cindy!

We will be electing Everett Cummings as a member in our Club. Everett has been a guest at several meetings; it will be good to welcome him as a member and get his active participation.

Finally, a nominating committee has completed nominating officers for Rotary Year 2024-2025 and a president-elect for Rotary Year 2025-2026, as well as recommended changes in club committees and their leadership. These recommendations will be presented for your consideration by president Shane Kading.
