We thank LizzyGator for opening their venue to us the past four years. We are going to be moving our meeting location to the PointBank Community Center on Liberty St.
This week, our own Rotarian Cindy Kennedy was the guest speaker at Rotary! Cindy spoke about her work with City Center Churches, which has been working to help underserved communities in Pilot Point for the past four years.
Our next Flag Work Day will be August 9 at 9:30 a.m. We have just a few flags that need repairing prior to our next Flag Holiday during Labor Day weekend. Any hands will be welcome! We will be meeting at the Flag Warehouse at 216 W Liberty St.
We are exploring the costs associated with bringing lunch service back to Rotary. If you are interested in having lunch provided (adding to your quarterly Rotary statement), contact President Whitney Delcourt.
Our next blood drive will be during Chromefest on August 31! Come help save a life. Register online with Carter BloodCare or message Shawn Dollar for a time slot.
