This week, we will be receiving training on the website, as well as on the Helping With Flags platform. Feel free to bring your laptop if you want to make it a working meeting and follow along with us!
This meeting will be at Pilot Point Coffee House, 110 W Main, where we can utilize their technology for the presentations.
Aubrey Independent School District and Pilot Point Independent School District High School students attended the weekly Rotary meeting on April 9 as our Seniors of the Month.
Thank you to Linda Bullwinkle for putting together this fantastic "Treasures of Aubrey Horse Country" basket for the Aubrey Education Foundation! It included: Upper Park Pecan Coffee, Jalapeno Chip Dip & Cheeseball Mix, Dip Sh*t Dip Mix for chips & veggies, D&L Peach Salsa, Stuffed Olives, Pickled Hot Jalapeno Slices, 2 Yeti Ramblers, Casey & Co Horse Country Candle, Swane Creek Luscious Lemon Vanilla Candle, Spider Plant in woven basket, Support Local Business T-shirt, Distressed blue Aubrey ball cap, and gift certificates from Upper Park Cafe and Giulia's Cafe.
Pilot Point Spring Trash Off
We need volunteers to help us clean up our section of the road Saturday, April 20 during the Pilot Point Spring Trash Off! Rotarians who are interested should meet at Groff Park at 8:30 am to pick up supplies. If you cannot be there at that time, please connect with the Service Committee to get the coordinator's info to connect with them when you are available. Thank you for helping the city Keep Pilot Point Beautiful.
Interested in helping with the flag program?
We need:
Volunteers with trucks willing to help with flag delivery
Workers to help with our first Flag Work Day on May 3 | 9:30 am | 520 Hill Street
People willing to head the Flag Committee beginning in 2025 who want to be trained now
This is our only major fundraiser, so we need to keep our Flag Program strong to keep doing our strong work within the surrounding communities. Reach out to Lenette Cox and Jerry Alford to find out how to get involved.
